we provide architectural interior design and creative and art direction services to individual and commercial clients, big and small, around the world.
our clients hire us to solve their trickiest design problems, create meaningful spaces, and incorporate a fresh perspectives into their existing designs.
our approach to design is rooted in designing spaces and experiences that feel intimate and engaging on a human level — spaces which honour beauty, clarity, and the human need to feel at home in the world, wherever you are.
we create from the confluence of our perspectives, experiences, and obsessions; designing environments that resonate with how we live, what we value, and who we hope to become.
ANNABEL COLTERJOHN CO-DIRECTOR & LEAD DESIGNER FOR INTERIORS
Annabel Colterjohn brings a seasoned voice to the studio. Her practice is enriched by years of writing on the worlds of art and design, her work appearing in the likes of House & Garden and 1stDibs’ Introspective magazine. Her fluency in culture, identity, and visual storytelling — shaped by her time in luxury branding and creative consultancy — now finds expression in her own design vision, refined and deeply informed.
It is our firm belief that you don’t make friends — you recognise them. The shared visual language that connected us then is now the driving force behind studio cab.
Annabel Colterjohn and Thornton Brewer crossed paths in the Mexico City airport — one of those liminal spaces where time stretches and conversations linger. Design surfaced as a natural topic, an early marker of an aesthetic kinship.
They parted ways as transatlantic friends, only to reunite years later in London, where they now live and work.
